There are so many things to keep track of as you monitor a website and this book does a very good job of laying out in simple terms what to measure among the visits to a website and how to keep a website working correctly, while maintaining consistency for the visitor.
It’s an excellent resource for website owners and would be an excellent tool for anyone building a website.

Very helpful and informative. One step at time to make your website more appealing and drive more customers to view and purchase your product. Highly recommend.
Matthew Edgar is a really good writer. He gets right to the point so you don't waste your time reading mindless jargon. I found a lot of useful stuff in this book, especially in the final two chapters when it delves a little deeper into understanding your visitors and making sense of their reactions. The reason I did not give this book 5 stars is that it was lacking in pictures. There were some, but I hope Mr. Edgar redoes this book with a lot more pictures and examples (it's a book talking about visual elements after all).
You will probably like this book if you are redesigning your own website or working with someone who is redesigning your website since each chapter concludes with a really nice checklist that you can follow to make sure everything is up to par.
You might not like this book if you are a visual learner and need to see examples and pictures to wrap your head around concepts.
